Jury acquits two more RNC defendants


rnc(3/19/2009 from RNC ’08 Report) “A Ramsey County jury today acquitted two defendants on seven counts arising from last year’s Republican National Convention in St. Paul. After a four day trial, the jury of six people found Ilana M. Radovsky not guilty of two counts of Unlawful Assembly, one count of False Name to a Police Officer, and one count of Fleeing a Police Officer on Foot. Gracia Logue-Sargeant was found not guilty of two counts of Unlawful Assembly and one count of Disorderly Conduct. Read the full story

Hundreds of LGBT activists Protest Prop.8


What was supposed to be a small rally on one city block became a 3 mile march that took people from the heart of West Hollywood to Beverly Hills, Hollywood, the Sunset Strip and as many places we could walk in three hours. After an hour of motivational speeches about equality and the future of gay rights, several groups of protesters decided to take action and march into the streets. full story here
