The Courant reported that Ritter’s first action in the city council was the send flowers to Rell (don’t even get me started on the gender dynamics involved in that), and it seems like Cotto’s first action was the deal with the issue of ICE intimidating immigrants.
I’m curious as to how the meeting with Roberts went…did he seem receptive to input? Obviously, from the article, it seems like he does not find anything wrong with looking into a person’s citizenship status, but I don’t really know if this is something he is willing to review as policy.
