HIMC has been following the WikiLeaks controversy. Despite the recent blows from US bas
ed internet hosting companies and now from PayPal, WikiLeaks has maintained a web presence. You can see a list of mirrors here. Many of these links also seem to be broken, but at least one seems to be working and maintaining WL content. See below for that link. No one is sure how long these mirrors may be in place, but they are encouraging. In another boost to WikiLeaks, a seemingly unlikely ally emerged this week: Ron Paul. His now infamous Twitter post on the subject reads:
“Re:
Wikileaks – In a free society, we are supposed to know the truth. In a society where truth becomes treason, we are in big trouble.”
Check out this mirror for WikiLeaks.

Also check out the cryptome website page at:

I found many of the sites under DNS mirrors to be accessible. Plus cryptome is a good site to keep in your bookmarks.
Thanks for posting this… Not surprising is that Connecticut’s own Joe Lieberman led the charge to get Wikileaks booted from Amazon’s servers.
And of course now Lieberman has raised his anti-Wikileaks bill that is squarely aimed at making it a crime to publish information “concerning the identity of a classified source or informant of an element of the intelligence community of the United States,” or “concerning the human intelligence activities of the United States or any foreign government” if such publication is prejudicial to U.S. interests. Significant expansion of the Espionage act to the publishing realm.
I think Lieberman is securing his position as Connecticut’s #1 Fascist! Must have been that kiss that did it =-)
As an fyi, wikileaks current ip address (rather than trying to go through domain names) is http://213.251.145.96/
