Growing Green

The growing green co-op, located in the Green Vibration eco-Plaza, is a health and wellness education resource center.

The co-op is a community of green businesses, individuals, and families working together to minimize our carbon footprints on the earth, while supporting the local economy as conscious consumers. The co-op promotes healthy lifestyle choices which encourage a positive, eco-friendly, and balanced approach to wellness.

Good health is more than the absence of illness- it is a state of welll-being and vitality created by a strong mind-body relationship in connection with spirit.

The co-op offers simple steps and easy solutions to begin living a greener life in harmony with nature and earth.

Alchemy

Alchemy Cafe offers a delicious selection of organic vegetarian foods.

The cafe will be open till 8:30 the night of the show.  Food and drinks may be purchased and brought next door to the co-op during the show.

This is not a bar.  Organic beer and wine may be brought to the event for personal consumption or to be donated.

Some appetizers will be donated by the cafe for the show.

Is This Place Haunted?

Tuesday, October 25, 7 – 8 pm
For decades, the museum staff at Connecticut Landmarks’ historic house museums has collected ghost stories and numerous reports of unexplained paranormal phenomena. Guides often respond with chilling tales of ghost sightings, strange noises and objects moving on their own. However, nothing has ever been substantiated – until now.The results of the paranormal investigation conducted by CT-PRI at the Nathan Hale Homestead will be revealed. Craft Class: Corn Husk Dolls

Sunday, October 11, 1 – 2 pm

Craft class is $10 and will be held in the schoolhouse. Class registration will take place at the Connecticut Landmarks’ visitor’s tent beginning at 10 am. Participants are encouraged to register early as space is limited. Register in advance by phone, 860.742.6917, or email hale@ctlandmarks.org.

Haunted Corn Maze

Saturday & Sunday, October 2 & 3, 7 – 9 pm

Watch out for spooky surprises around every corner! Bring your flashlights and leave your scaredy-pants at home as our maze is taken over by things that go bump in the night! Not recommended for small children. $8/$25 for families (2 adults and children).

Craft Class: Wool Rugs with Rose Ann Hunter

Sunday, September 20, 11 am – 3:30 pm
The class will cover several techniques including yarn sewing, knotting, shirring, and penny rug appliqué wool on wool. A small canvas will be provided with wool yarns, fabrics and sewing needles. This three-hour class will produce a small mat and enough skills to go on to making a larger rug. Please bring a pair of scissors. Registration is required.
