ART AFTER HOURS

5-8 pm Mingle, nosh, dance, attend a gallery talk, and see a classic film. The Wadsworth Atheneum is open until 8pm on the first Thursday of each month. Enjoy the sounds of Island Rhythms, performing a variety of music with a Caribbean twist. At 6pm, artist Chet Kempczynski leads a gallery tour and walk to the Hartford Public Library to view his work, retro:works. At 8pm, sing along to the ABBA-tune-filled Mama Mia! shown outdoors in Gengras Court, weather permitting. Rain location: Aetna Theater. (Separate ticket purchase.) $5, 2-for-1 with Let*s GO Arts!
