		<description>Though supportive housing programs have hard evidence showing that they work; funding still gets cut. I could understand if there was evidence to the contrary, but it&#039;s not like that. It is another example of our elected officials blatant discrimatory practices towards Connecticuts poor.

We are seeing the priorities of our state leaders, as they cut important programs that are proven to work, such as supportive housing apartments that end homelessness for people with long-term illness. While there are many people who are fighting the good fight, it saddens me that many of these innovative programs that offer people a helping hand get cut.</description>
