Poverty: Is the American Dream Broken?
Does the American dream still exist? In the midst of economic crisis, are there opportunities for effecting systemic change in policies addressing poverty? What does the American dream look like in the 21st century and how do we get there? Connecticut is the second richest state in the richest nation in the world, then why are significant numbers of our neighbors hungry or without homes? What can we do to solve these inequities?
