The Rubicon is a small stream defining the boundary between Cisalpine Gaul(France) and Roman Italy.   During the days of the Roman Republic no General or military dictator was allowed to cross the water with his legions or troops.  No legions or troops, other than personal  retainers , were allowed in the city limits of Rome itself.   On January 11, Julius Caesar, crossed the Rubicon with his legion and the die was cast.   Roman constitutional law was over thrown and the Republic was dead without knowing it.  On September 11 the generals in the Pentagon in collusion with the President and his Cabinet and supported by the multi-global Wall Street financiers crossed the Rubicon by allowing un -intercepted planes to devastate New York’s Twin Towers and even sacrificed their own legionnaires at the Pentagon. This marks the intentional undermining of the US Constitution and the Republic for which it stands.  Shortly thereafter followed the un-constitutional Patriot Act and two illegal wars.

This comparison is deftly and accurately described in detail in Michael Rupperts book Crossing the Rubicon.  This is not about a conspiracy.  It is a homicide investigation done by a former LAPD narcotics investigator who tracks historical events, political appointees who all come from the same boardrooms and universities and financial documents that scream at us to “follow the money”.  The book predicts the coming end of oil, soon very soon, and details the money laundering on Wall Street of illegal drug profits.

All Viet Nam veterans, but especially medical personnel, know of the epidemic heroin use that occurred in Viet Nam from 1969-73.  We came home knowing about the smuggling of heroin by the CIA, CID and DEA.  Opium production paid for the weapons given to the Meo and Hmong tribes to kill VC and NVA.  Our people than sold heroin to us, the GI’s .  In Graves Registration, where bodies are prepared for shipment home , heroin was stashed in body cavities, not just coffins as the movie American Gangster relates 35 yrs later.  What can you believe?

Today opium production has ballooned in Afghanistan and we are increasing our troop commitment by 30,000.  When the Soviets were in Afghanistan CIA director Bill Casey working with Osama bin Laden supported opium production with the intent to addict Soviet soldiers, who call themselves the “Afghantsi”.    I have met two former Afghantsi, one says he is ashamed of what his country did in Afghanistan, the other says the Mujahideen , insurgent rebels, will never stop.  They use to leave still living Soviet soldiers along the roads with arms and legs missing for their comrades to find.  This war like my war is all about a dollar bill-follow the money.

Oil, which my nation is addicted too, has almost dried up.  The Saudi’s have lied about how much oil is left in the ground in the Ghawar reservoir.  The Oil companies know it is costing more to pump out what is left than they can sell it for.  When the Soviet economy collapsed in 1998 the stocks lost 90% of their value.   The Russian population had shrunk from 160 million to 145 million, in Moscow wealthy westerners could have 14 yr old girls for sex and people joked to not eat anything labeled as chicken as it might be human flesh.   Could this happen here ?   Follow the money.
