Georgia court jails Muslim woman for not removing head scarf

A Muslim woman in the US state of Georgia was arrested Tuesday and ordered to serve 10 days in jail for contempt of court after she refused to remove her headscarf, or hijab, upon entering a security checkpoint in an Atlanta courtroom. Continued…

    How is a hijab a security risk? Is she going to hide a bomb in there? Give me a frickin’ break. This is bigotry, plain and simple. Why don’t we make it illegal for people to wear crosses around their necks? After all, you could stab someone with it.
