However, I wanted to bring something else up in the story. I know I'm taking this out of context, but I'm a little concerned with the quote... "They're out there, they're away from their families, they're away from their girlfriends, you know, their wives," she said. "They see an opportunity." As if rape or sexual assault is a crime of opportunity and convenience and nothing else. This is horrible news. However, I wanted to bring something else up in the story. I know I’m taking this out of context, but I’m a little concerned with the quote…

And then when they get back home, female veterans are 2 to 4 times more likely than non-veteran women to experience homelessness. Seems like a bad deal to me.
